Longing for Home

John 17:1-4, Matthew 26:36-39

This is not our final home, but we live here. And as Jesus begins His prayer, we see this tension clearly. As Jesus lifts His eyes toward the hope of heaven - He still stands in the brokenness of earth. He's longing for home, but He's not yet there. This is the tension that all of those who believe live in. e but not home.
